I am confident that at some point in your life, your parents said something similar to “you are the company you keep.” I know I have said that to each of my kids at some point.

I bring this up in the context of the people the president-elect has nominated for key positions in the government that we all have to live with. None of them have adequate experience for their future position, and most are incredibly reckless even by the president-elect’s standards.

To be clear, if your senator votes to confirm these nominees, they are not representing you or their country. They are representing him, and we all will suffer the consequences.
