On cool fall nights like this, I do really enjoy using our Solo Stove Mesa on our aluminum deck table. My only issue with it is that the stand should absolutely have more than four legs. It should have at least six, if not eight, legs to keep it super stable. We are talking about a live fire after all in very close proximity to a tabletop and people.

I know Solo Stove makes a ton of money on their accessories, but if they wanted to put all other smokeless fire pits out of business, they would design the product with a stable, built-in heat deflector. Let’s face it. Without the heat deflector, all of the heat from a smokeless fire pit goes straight up to keep the air hot enough to eliminate the smoke. Building in the deflector is the next logical evolution if you ask me.
