It is incredibly important for the health and safety of all Americans and citizens of the world that our health leaders are critical, skeptical, and questioning of the information they consume. That is what we should expect of scientists in charge of our most important agencies. That should be the bare minimum.
The more important skills for these leaders are reasoning and judgment. That is where Dr. Weldon’s history indicates that he falls short. Let’s hope for all of our sakes that the senators responsible for confirmation have these skills in abundance.

Congratulations to the SLUH varsity soccer team for winning the Missouri State Championship!
Despite a historically ineffective coaching staff that has squandered a treasure trove of talent over the years, these young men have managed to pull off an incredible run through the playoffs and have won the whole darn thing. It is awesome to see these Men for Others come together to achieve something amazing.

It still makes absolutely no sense for Apple to make a TV. Any rumor that says otherwise is complete nonsense and a waste of time and characters. There is nothing special about a physical TV.
What is special is being able to take your video subscriptions anywhere you go and being able to view them on any screen in any room no matter where you are. With AirPlay, we’re almost there. The key is to get every single TV manufacturer on board as an industry standard.
Now that would be special.
