  • Last night’s Youth Be Heard Create-A-Thon was inspiring and very fun all at the same time. It was great to read the writings of young people and see their incredible artwork. They even got me to beatbox a little bit for charity!

Please read about what this local organization is doing to support youth in the St. Louis metro region and provide support if you are so inclined.

Join us for our first annual create-a-thon fundraiser!

  • Absolutely incredible St. Louis Metro District Honor Choir performance yesterday afternoon! Bringing together the best artists from across the region can only produce amazing results. The best part for me was hearing how excited our son was to be able to sing in such a talented choir. We definitely heard some future music majors in that bunch, and I hope this experience inspires our son to try out again next year.

  • If Americans prioritized historical education and critical thinking, many more of us would understand why those that did not vote for Trump are terrified about what is about to happen to us. History has already written the outcome. History knows what will happen next. We do indeed deserve everything that is going to come our way.

  • Hello to all of my readers in the midwest and western United States! Remember, you still have plenty of time to vote. Your vote matters every single election. Get out there and have your voice be heard!

  • The big day is finally here, folks.

Here in Missouri, we have an opportunity to restore reproductive rights to the women of our state, elect people of character to statewide offices, and elect judges who make judgements based on law instead of politics or religion.

The big question is . . . are there enough people with the necessary judgement and character to actually make these things happen today?

    Get out and vote!

  • “A republic, if you can keep it.” Those were the words of Ben Franklin on the last day of the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787.

With each election, we as a country have to ask ourselves this very question. Are we willing to do the work necessary to keep this uniquely American experiment alive for the next generation?

I am concerned many of my fellow countrymen no longer have the capacity or education or care to understand what Ben Franklin meant by his response all of those years ago – that it takes a lot of effort for a democratic republic to be of service to all of its citizens. It’s not easy. We all have to do our part.

I ask once again. Please vote if you haven’t already.

Let’s make sure we prove that we are worthy to keep this republic.

  • Seriously, folks. We cannot elect this lunatic to lead 350 million people.

    Now, go vote!

    OPINION | THE EDITORIAL BOARD

  • President Bush, it is well past time to get off the sidelines. It’s all hands on deck time for any hope of maintaining our great experiment.
