• Great interview with Harper Steele, and of course she’s a Hawkeye!

  • Let us not forget that the impacts of Trump’s poorly planned global trade war are all on him. We are not whole even after today’s rally. This is all self-inflicted chaos that is avoidable under clear-headed leadership.

  • For those of you hearing and reading about the protests that happened yesterday, mark your calendars for April 19th. I am 100% convinced that a massive majority of Americans do not want the intentional destruction that Trump is inflicting on our government and way of life.

We all must participate in our democracy to keep it. This is no time to be a wallflower or Monday Morning Quarterback.

Yesterday was incredible. The official count is in — 5.2 million people joined the protest nationwide. So many are asking: what’s next? Mark your calendars: 4/19 is the next nationwide day of protest.

  • The NBC Sports apps on iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS have had an incredibly frustrating bug for years, and it is beyond me how they have not fixed this yet.

All of the apps consistently lose their connections to our TV provider and throw an error requiring me to re-authenticate before watching content. None of the other apps that use our TV provider have this issue so I know it is a problem with the way NBCUniversal has implemented the connection. This seems like something that can easily be fixed with a bit of effort.

Perhaps NBCUniversal Media can borrow some resources from Peacock TV to improve the user experience of the NBCUniversal apps.

  • It seems a bit short-sighted on Apple’s part to only provide support for the excellent Apple Sports app on the iPhone. With their larger screens, there is massive potential for incredible user experiences on the iPad and Mac, and it seems logical to add similar experiences to the TV app on the Apple TV. It would be great to filter down for My Teams, My Leagues, or specific conferences or leagues when trying to find a game or tournament.

With these features being so seemingly obvious, I can only assume they are on Apple’s roadmap or backlog. Let’s hope so anyway.

  • It’s crazy that I feel the need to write this, but Americans DO NOT want Greenland. It’s not a thing. No one in their right mind thinks about this. Ever.

Honestly, if this US administration tries to take Greenland by any means, they and the rest of us will deserve whatever the world decides to dish out.

  • Let’s all say this together. It doesn’t matter one single bit whether or not Trump is joking. A third term is unconstitutional and thus against the law. Any other comment or response is a complete waste of time and a distraction from what’s important.

  • After a long winter, it’s finally here. That magical, mystical day when everything is possible. The future is wide open. Hope springs eternal. It’s Opening Day!

So, if life or work has you down, remember, your team is tied for first place, and summer is right around the corner.

  • Every single leader and citizen should be as frustrated and vocal as Bernie Sanders. It is absolutely pathetic that our loudest voice of resistance is an 83 year old that has always been a leading voice for what is right. Where are the outraged teenagers and 20 year olds? As has always been the case in human history, we need the young to lead the revolution.
