When a real estate developer makes the incredibly shortsighted decision to plant sweetgum trees along streets, they should be perpetually responsible for the damage caused to streets, sidewalks, and driveways. They should also be perpetually responsible for weekly maintenance of every street and yard as well as any injuries caused by the seed pods.
These trees have no place in neighborhoods or anywhere near where humans may be present.
In this young Cubs season, Shota Imanaga has delivered big time. His pitching has been very creative, and I really enjoy watching his approach and attitude while he’s on the mound. Let’s hope these are signs of great things to come.

It should not be a shock to anyone that knows anything about business that Truth Social shares are dropping like a rock. The company is worth nothing, and the entire premise of the business is flawed. I’d put Truth Social in the same category as Dogecoin.
It’s interesting that the men’s Final Four and championship game are both behind paywalls while the women’s championship game will be over the air on ABC (and ESPN). The audience for the Iowa-South Carolina game is going to blow away the audience for the men’s final. The numbers will be nowhere near close.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the Mississippi State University Club Ultimate team this weekend for the Huck Finn 2024 tournament in O’Fallon, Illinois. The guys did great going 5-2 against high-quality competition from across the country.
The team is made up of some really amazing people, and we’re very happy our son is part of such a great group.
