Steve Kerr reminds me so much of Bill Bradley. His demeanor, his character, his leadership. He has a future in politics if he wants one. I, for one, would welcome his leadership in national politics.

Trump continues to show his lack of leadership and character by backing out of another agreement. I’m sure he thinks he’s being a tough guy, but it just makes him look weak and worried that things would not end well for him.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how history will remember the MAGA movement, its leaders, and its followers. With hopes that history informs the present, I can only assume that MAGA will be but a bump on the road towards a more just human society.
But how will history remember all of this in 100 years? Will future generations talk about MAGAs the way most of us talk about Nazis today? Will they talk about Trump like we talk about Hitler? Will they talk about a great struggle where the world stepped in to save or free non-MAGA Americans? Will they talk about tribunals where MAGA leaders are tried for crimes against humanity?
Admittedly, my hope is that I look back on this post in a few years and find I was worried about nothing, but when I listen to and read their words, the reality I envision above is not that far of a stretch. Let’s hope for us in the present that history remembers us because we defeated MAGA peacefully through elections.

Might be an interesting and timely read as the Roberts Court transforms the American legal system right under our noses.

Folks, if you thought the Roberts court caused chaos with their Dobbs decision to throw out the long-standing Roe v. Wade precedent, what they did this week has the potential to upend American life in ways we cannot possibly predict in the near-term. The Chevron Doctrine allowed agencies to be the experts in the room – the ones that knew the details, knew the what, the why, and the how.
Now, the courts or the legislatures around the country will need to play that expert role. Obviously, that is impossible and is destined to fail. Get ready for decades of regulatory whiplash.

When you have had a questionable tenure on the court at best and your wife actively participates in an insurrection or coup, it seems reasonable to me that you should expect people to not be super happy with you.

It should not be a shock to anyone that knows anything about business that Truth Social shares are dropping like a rock. The company is worth nothing, and the entire premise of the business is flawed. I’d put Truth Social in the same category as Dogecoin.
