  • Listening to XRT’s Saturday Morning Flashback, and they’re featuring 1999. Yep, I did the math, and that’s indeed 25 years ago – more than appropriate for a flashback.

I will say that the music has aged quite well. Most of the rock music from the 90’s used instruments and technology that existed long before that decade and are still in use today.

That, my friends, is how you create timeless music. Tune in, and enjoy!

  • Brewers ownership must be cringing every time Brewers fans boo Craig Counsell. This is a guy that gave everything to the Brewers organization for 13 years and Milwaukee for most of his life.

It’s really not a great look for future manager candidates and free agents to see the fan base be so fickle and unappreciative.

Who would want to invest any time with an organization like that?

  • Oakville resident morons decide to forego $1,000,000 in federal funding to improve the safety and accessibility of an intersection that has proven to be dangerous so they can keep their precious 4-way stop intersection and not experience any positive change in their lives.

  • Another FIS Emerald conference is in the books! The FIS Commercial Lending team delivered some great content to an engaged audience in the Lending track. It was great to spend time with clients old and new, and I’m already looking forward to doing this all over again next year.

  • When you have had a questionable tenure on the court at best and your wife actively participates in an insurrection or coup, it seems reasonable to me that you should expect people to not be super happy with you.

  • This is what it looks like when a bunch of scared suburbanites find out there is a precautionary boil order because of a water main break (there used to be a whole lot of bottled water in those empty spaces).

Oh no! Don’t buy what you need. Buy it all! Like toilet paper. Or maybe just boil some water?

  • When a real estate developer makes the incredibly shortsighted decision to plant sweetgum trees along streets, they should be perpetually responsible for the damage caused to streets, sidewalks, and driveways. They should also be perpetually responsible for weekly maintenance of every street and yard as well as any injuries caused by the seed pods.

These trees have no place in neighborhoods or anywhere near where humans may be present.

  • In this young Cubs season, Shota Imanaga has delivered big time. His pitching has been very creative, and I really enjoy watching his approach and attitude while he’s on the mound. Let’s hope these are signs of great things to come.

  • I’m all for supporting allies when they are attacked, but if the particular ally is the one that picked the fight in the first place, why should we feel the need to jump in and save their butts?

I’d rather help Ukraine which was clearly attacked by an aggressor than pick up the mess Israel made for itself with Iran.
