  • Sometimes it just takes a picture to tell a story. What do you think the investment world thinks about Trump’s insane push for Greenland and the war (trade or otherwise) that it will cause?

  • Now would be an excellent time for Congress and the Supreme Court to apply some checks and balances on the Executive Branch.

Republicans and Democrats are trying to contain Trump’s Greenland aggression. Will it be enough?

  • The Chicago Bears gave us a season to remember even though they came up short to the goal of winning the Super Bowl. We witnessed a year of improbable individual and team plays, and we almost ran out of fingers to count the number of fourth quarter comebacks for wins.

I’ve already equated the 2025 Bears season to the 2015 Cubs season, and that’s high praise and hopes for what will be a championship year for the Bears next year. We have a quarterback who believes he can do anything, and that kind of attitude is contagious.

    Bear Down!

The Bears came up short, but Caleb Williams wowed the NFL again

  • At this point, it’s pretty ridiculous that Walmart has remained committed to their payment systems. There are so many other ways to track a shopper’s purchases in-store that the act of paying does not need to be tied to the rest of the experience.

Give shoppers a good reason to sign in at the register. Perhaps shoppers earn points towards Walmart Cash or earn points towards a discount on a Walmart+ and/or Sam’s Club membership. Another option is to link a shopper via their payment card number. Many food and drink establishments already do this. The technology exists.

I have no doubt that Walmart will come around eventually. At the end of the day, the customer is always right, and customers want to tap their phones, watches, or cards.

  • 2025 Bears = 2015 Cubs. You know what’s that means!

  • Repeat after me: The president cannot order anyone to do anything outside of the government.

    Also, this is just dumb.

Trump will order TV networks to ‘protect’ Army-Navy football game

  • Bear Down!!!

  • Now would be an excellent time for Congress and the Supreme Court to apply some checks and balances on the Executive Branch.

Trump says 8 European countries will face 10% tariff for opposing US control of Greenland

  • Do not underestimate the chilling impact this search will have on the Fourth Estate. The gagging of a free press is how governments fail.

  • Will taking Greenland by force make us feel like men?

I think it will just make us feel like Russians (more accurately Soviets) or Germans (more accurately Nazis).

Trump is a small person who has been begging for attention from anywhere he could get it for his entire life. He’s the guy that buys a massive truck for no practical purpose whatsoever just to feel bigger.

Let me be clear, the citizens of the United States don’t want to buy Greenland. The citizens of the United States don’t want to invade Greenland. I would wager a boat load of money that most US Neo-Nazi morons (MAGA) wouldn’t be able to point out Greenland on a map.

There is no better time than now for the United States Congress to put an end to all of this nonsense. Who from the majority party will stand up? Who wants to be seen as a hero and leader in the eyes of the world?
