The 2026 Chicago Cubs need to take a page out of Michael Jordan’s playbook and use this video as inspiration to destroy the Brewers next season. A still of this video needs to be in every locker, and the video needs to play on repeat in the clubhouse.

Try Not to Suck
Had to break out a 2016-vintage t-shirt for tonight’s Game 3 against the Brewers.
Let’s go Cubs!

My first favorite baseball player, and my favorite all-time Chicago Cubs player.
RIP Ryno.
Ryne Sandberg, Cubs icon and Hall of Famer, passes away at 65

As a lifelong Cubs fan, it’s strange to hear Chip Caray calling a Cardinals game. On the other hand, it’s nice to hear Chip Caray calling a game again.

The video and audio sync between Marquee and WSCR on MLB.TV is exceptional tonight. Always great to be able to watch the game while listening to Pat and Ron and hearing the ball hit the catcher’s glove in perfect harmony.

After a long winter, it’s finally here. That magical, mystical day when everything is possible. The future is wide open. Hope springs eternal. It’s Opening Day!
So, if life or work has you down, remember, your team is tied for first place, and summer is right around the corner.
*And yes, I realize my Cubs are in a 0-2 hole thanks to the most expensive team in baseball, but I’m just going to pretend those games didn’t happen.

It’s been an up and down season for my Chicago Cubs, and while not technically eliminated from the playoffs, the Cubs would need to go 8-0 the rest of the way while the Diamondbacks, Mets, or Braves experience an epic collapse.
On the bright side, the team will likely end the season with more wins than losses, and the last game is a classic Wrigley Field afternoon game starting at 2:20.
It brings back great memories of the businessman specials back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. There’s nothing quite like the smell of a packed Red Line L train from the Loop to Wrigleyville in the hot summer months. Great times!

It’s these types of plays that makes me so hopeful for successful Cubs teams over the next several years. The kids can play!
