Don’t let the headlines or Trump fool you. A president cannot just sign away a department created by congress and signed into law. Only congress can write and pass a bill to eliminate the Department of Education, and I’d be willing to bet there are nowhere near enough votes to pass a bill.

I thought I would share a quick data visualization I used ChatGPT to create for me. It depicts the percentage of Trump voters as part of the population of the United States. Yes, the population includes citizens not old enough to vote yet, but the image is still quite clear that this president does not have anywhere near majority support. He did not even receive a majority of votes cast during the 2024 election.
I am sharing this for all of my friends outside of the United States. We are not all crazy psychopaths here in America.
