For The Birds
I used to love going down to the Fox River with my Grandpa Leonard to feed the ducks and geese. We used to go to the bread outlet on River Street, buy a bunch of bread, and feed the birds until all of the loaves were gone.
I guess something in me still finds this highly enjoyable. After seeing several cardinals bouncing around our deck looking for food, I felt the sudden urge to toss out some bread.
So, here’s to you, Grandpa. Now, if only the birds would come back . . .
Kyah’s Super Bowl Toenails
Kyah’s been working hard this morning to do something festive for Super Bowl Sunday. I think she succeeded!

Pumpkin Hunting 2011
The Probst family headed off to Eckert’s for our annual pumpkin hunting adventure last Thursday and had an incredible time. There’s nothing quite like walking (and sometimes running, skipping, and strolling) through a pumpkin patch looking for that perfect pumpkin to call your own. Here are some of the pictures I managed to capture of our evening at Eckert’s. Enjoy!

Donnell and Kyah – Two Photogs in A Pod
Donnell just wrapped up her first experience with shooting video with her D7000 and with editing video with iMovie. Kyah provided the perfect subject, and her own photos were featured in the video. I think you’ll really enjoy this video, and to me, it shows the promise of great things to come from Donnell Probst Photography.

Noah’s A TV Star!
Noah’s kindergarten class was recently featured by the St. Louis NBC affiliate. Strangely enough for modern-day video, there is no sound, but the video is crystal clear.

It seems something strange happens around here every time Taio Cruz’s Dynamite comes on the radio. The wife and all three kids instantly break into song (yes, even the two year old). When they’re not strapped into seat belts, the chances of instantaneous dancing is also very high. So, to memorialize the mysterious power of Taio Cruz, here is video evidence. Enjoy!
